“Why does it cost more here than the tag price?”

We hear this a lot. Some people don’t mind the markup, some are curious, and a few are frustrated, so here’s the straightforward answer:

Sometimes, the price you see in-store is basically what we paid (or close to it). To run a real business and keep inventory moving, we have to add margin on top.

If you’d rather pay the in-store price, we totally get it, you’ll always get the best “deal” by shopping in person when you have the time and luck to find the exact item, but for online shopping price may differ.

What we sell is convenience + selection + availability, especially when items are limited or inconsistent in-store.
